8” BONE SAW
The 8” bone saw blade is constructed with precision engineered 65Mn steel with a factory sharpened crosscut edge to ensure sawing can be done with minimal effort. The blade has a titanium nitride (TiN) coating for durability as well as enhanced abrasion and corrosion resistance.
Designed to efficiently cut through bone and flesh to help you field dress and process your large game as quickly and safely as possible, so you are not left with jagged sharp edges when you pack out. The saw can also be used for sawing tree branches at the campsite.
5Cr13 STEEL
5Cr13 stainless steel offers excellent hardness, maintains a good, sharp edge, and has great corrosion resistance at an affordable price.
TITANIUM NITRIDE (TiN) COATING
The Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating provides improved abrasion-resistance, corrosion- resistance, and durability over uncoated blades.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
SHARPENING
Swift Edge blades come with a factory sharp edge suitable for all your cutting, slicing, sawing, and filleting needs. They are intended to be replaced after extended use, so it is important to regularly inspect and dispose of heavily worn or damaged blades. TRUE does not recommend sharpening the Swift Edge replacement blades, but minimal honing can be done to extend the life of the blade.
CLEANING
We recommend cleaning your knife and blade after every use. This is especially important with the Swift Edge knifes to ensure the retention housing is free of debris. Carefully hand wash with liquid dish soap and warm water. Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads that may scratch the blade or knife finish. Dry thoroughly prior to storage to prevent the risk of rusting.
OILING
If needed, a small amount of oil can be used to lubricate the pivot mechanism of the knife. A thin coating of oil can all also be applied to the blades to prevent the risk of rusting when in storage.
